Well here we are....FINALLY...the last week (or so I hope) of pregnancy!  I am so thankful that I have been able to experiencet pregnancy.  I know at the end it does get "uncomfy" and there is the urge to complain complain about how I feel...but in all honesty I have loved pregnancy and would not trade it for the world.  I can say I have had an easy pregnancy compared to many womens stories that I have heard and I am so thankful for that.  There have been some rough patches where I thought my body may give up on me...but thank goodness it was only here and there and not throughout the entire 9 months!  At this stage I am very much ready to have a baby in my arms as opposed to in my tummy...I guess you could say I am there...done....cooked and getting impatient!  I am so ready to go to my doctors appoinment this week knowing that it could be the last one!!!  I pray that there is some progress....so far each appt. I have had zero percent progress toward labor and that is a tad discouraging....but like everyone says...it can happen in a flash!  I am hoping for that little inkling of progress this week, but I am grateful to already have my overdue appointment scheduled knowing that if little Dawson decides to take his time I will go back and we will have a plan soon!  BUT...alot can happen in 7 days or so! I can say I am very thankful that we will be done with school this week and that I don't have to worry at all about anything else with work once Dawson is born.  I brought all of my grades home this weekend to finish up just in case I don't make it to Friday!  My class is totally finished with all work and testing, prepared for graduation, and desks are cleaned out!  Yes...I prepared for a substitute this week....the last thing I wanted to deal with is phone calls from work if I were to go into labor, so I decided to be proactive and finishe everything this past Friday!  As far as work goes this week....obviously I get Monday off for Memorial Day ...so I plan to "nest" tomorrow more so for our family than myself, but none the less this house needs cleaning.  Tuesday we have our graduation picnic at the park....I am somewhat dreading the heat, but can't complain...at least it's not August....Wednesday...well I'm going to have games, movies, toys, and art projects ready to go and Thursday my kids graduate!  I think if I can get through those three days I will feel ready to relax and have a baby! Everyone pray for ALL of this please. If I have 3 top prayer requests it would be #1 Labor to come on naturally #2 Safety for Dawson and Mommy through delivery and #3 Smooth delivery and recovery!  Well hopefully next Sunday I won't be blogging but rather cuddling with my boy~ if not, there will be a 40 week belly shot ! :)

Well for now we are in the waiting game!! Everyday I wake up hoping for some action, but want whatever is best for my little buddy!  I am excited to have the end in sight and knowing that the maximum amount of time I will be pregnant is around 3 more weeks!  EEEEEKKKK needless to say that feels sooo good to say!  I had my appointment Wednesday and everything looks great, Dawson is growing perfectly on schedule and moving down as necessary.  I started having some cramping this week and braxton hicks quite frequently so the doctor went ahead and checked to see if I was progressing.  He said that I had definitely softened but no dilating yet, but that the cramping and contractions are the start to a possibly short or long process....Basically his words were keep an eye out now that you are term any day could be the day!  Oh how exciting yet so blah not being able to know....I have such a "need to know" personality that this part kills me!  As for now we will keep an eye out for the signs and get the bags packed!
I think seeing this face makes the wait so much longer to me....I cannot wait to kiss those cheeks!!!!
